Hi everyone! Thanks for watching Your News Now. I'm currently on maternity leave, but I look forward to reporting the news in West Central Ohio again in a few weeks.
I joined the Your News Now family in the Spring of 2009. However, I'm no stranger to Lima. I grew up in Mercer County, and my family made regular trips to the "big city" to visit family and to shop.
My career also started in Lima. I began as a reporter at FOX 25 in the summer of 2007. While there, I literally got my "feet wet" in the news business. My first major story was covering the devastating flooding in Ottawa and Findlay.
At FOX 25, I held just about every position in the newsroom—reporter, producer, news director. My passion, however, remained out in the field. So, when the NBC and FOX newsrooms merged, I returned to my love of reporting.
For the past two years, I have been recognized by the Associated Press as the Best Small Market reporter in Ohio. The AP has also rewarded my enterprise and feature reporting skills.
