Hello! I'm Jeff Fitzgerald, and I'm the co-anchor for Your News Now at 6pm. I was born on February 27, 1965, and I'm a lifelong Lima resident. I graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School, and attended Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio.
I've worked at WLIO from 1984 to present as Reporter, Morning Anchor, Midday Anchor, 6 PM News Anchor (1990-present). On the personal side, I'm married and being a life long resident I have friends and family here, and enjoy the community. It makes it easy being in a familiar community. I know the people and they know me. It makes work and personal life easy, comfortable and enjoyable.
My hobbies include golfing, tennis and going out (nothing wrong with an occasional beer) As far as my future goals, someday when I'm old and gray, (and my hair is changing fast), would like to get off the air and into management.
