Large drug trafficking bust for Auglaize Mercer County Drug Task Force

Posted: Updated:

The Auglaize Mercer County Drug Task Force makes one of their largest arrests on drug trafficking charges, at one time, in their history.

The task force arrested 16 people over the weekend on a variety of drug trafficking charges.
An Auglaize County grand jury returned 19 indictments stemming from 6 months of investigations by the drug task force. Sheriff Al Solomon says the arrest were possible thanks to cooperation between officers from the task force, as well as Saint Mary, Wapakoneta, Minster, and Cridersville Police Departments, and deputies from the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office. The latest round of drug bust is part of the continuing fight to make a dent in the drug trafficking in Auglaize and Mercer Counties.
