LIMA, OHIO -
The Today Show will feature a Lima food manufacturer making a huge donation Thursday. The Today Show's Lend a Hand tour will stop in Birmingham, Alabama in the morning, where Rudolph Roods Company will be sending a truckload of pork rinds.
Rudolph Foods' headquarters is in Lima, but has plants around the country, and will send victims of the Alabama tornadoes $10,000 worth of pork rinds. Soup kitchens around Alabama will receive the salty snacks, which are a favorite in the south.
Rudolph Foods is the world's largest manufacturer of pork rinds, and directors believe in giving back to those in need.
Rudolph Foods was featured on another national program last year. Rachel Ray named the company's chicharinas the "snack of the day."
