
As October and Breast Cancer Awareness month ends, November's Pancreatic Cancer month begins.
A former nurse at St. Rita's Medical Center and a mother of four knows the ravages of pancreatic cancer. After being diagnosed 18 months ago, Patty Rojas has been in and out of hospitals. Doctors have decided that her cancer has progressed beyond treatment, allowing her to move home to make her final arrangement. As her last stand against cancer, Rojas hopes to educate more about just how serious pancreatic cancer is.
