They say if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Members of Apollo Career Center's Culinary Arts Program will experience real pressure as they compete this Sunday and Monday in a statewide competition in Columbus.

The Culinary Team of four members will compete Sunday surrounded by a group of judges.

It's one hour, two burners, no electricity, and a tense time when the students know they will have to be at the top of their game.

The Restaurant Management Team at Apollo will then compete Monday, showing the judges how they have built their own restaurant concept from the ground up.
