An easier way to pay taxes

Allen County is taking some of the pain out of paying your real estate taxes.

The courthouse is always a popular drop-off point for tax payments but now there are a few more options.

The treasurer's office teams up with all local Huntington and Union Banks and Superior Federal Credit Union who will all now serve as regional tax collection sites.

Treasurer Jim Link says that means sixteen new outlets to send in your payment, hopefully making your life a little easier.

You can also now make credit card payments for property taxes in the treasurer's office.   First half taxes for Allen County residents are due February 17th.
