Online activists speak out for locked out employees

After receiving support from political figures, the NFL Players Association and the community, locked out Cooper Tire workers are grabbing the attention of some on-line activists.

 The American Rights at Work campaign is calling on the company to end the lock out at it's Findlay, Ohio plant. Online activists have sent nearly 22,000 emails to Cooper tire CEO, Roy Arms, urging him to get workers back on the job. According to Zoe Bridges-Curry from the American Rights at Work, she says Cooper Tire began blocking emails within seven hours of receiving the thousands of emails sent by activists. She says the company hasn't responded directly, but nevertheless they're definitely taking notice of the range of support for the locked out workers. The members of the union in Findlay have been locked out since November 28th. Bridges-Curry says consumers play a huge role in helping people get back to work.
