Kasich discusses unions

Findlay, Ohio- Governor Kasich was questioned about the role government should play in the Cooper Tire contract discussions. Kasich has made it a focus to keep and bring manufacturing jobs to Ohio. However, some of the more than 1,000 Cooper Tire employees are concerned about where Kasich's loyalties lay. 

Kasich says that when management cannot operate a factory smoothly they sometimes begin to consider relocating their factories. Kasich fears that continued contract problems could be enough to push companies like Cooper Tire out of Ohio. Kasich says he hopes the two sides can reach an agreement soon, but says he cannot make them come to an agreement.
