Quarter auction helps fund local film festival

A big fundraiser in Delphos today, designed to help fund a film festival in Lima later this year. 

Organizers of this year's Northwest Ohio Independent Film Festival were at the Eagles Lodge in Delphos to hold a quarter auction. They hope to raise about $3,000 from the event to help defray the costs of organizing such an event. 

Executive Director Len Archibald says they have decided to move the film festival from the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert to Lima's Civic Center.

The Northwest Ohio Independent Film Festival is scheduled for July 6-8 at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center. 

Archibald says they are still working on the lineup of movies that will be shown during the festival.
