No school for some high school students meant a busy day at Rhodes State College.
The annual Presidents' Day Open House took place at the college for prospective students. Over 250 people were expected at the event, which gave opportunity to learn about all the school's programs, student services, and financial aid information. Director of Admissions Traci Cox says the day was a chance for students to learn about all aspects of the college, while being able to meet with faculty and current students.
Visitors were able to tour the various departments, while experiencing what a day in the life of a Rhodes student might be like. The two-year college features 100 majors and certificates, and over 1,200 specialized training opportunities.
