Growing up in villages no larger than 800 people, Lima is quite the change for me. As I continue to cover stories and get to know the people of Lima, I hope to make this area home. Graduating from Elmwood High School in 2008, I entered Ohio Northern University as a Biology/Pre-Dentistry Major. After getting a taste of broadcasting through volunteer work at the campus station, I knew that I had to make a career change. This is one life decision I will never regret.
After completing my internship at WLIO during the summer of 2011, I had no idea that I would be coming back a short time later. Making WLIO my first broadcast job in my young career is something I look to make the most of.
Getting a job right out of college is more than I could have ever expected, and to come to a station that I fell in love with during my internship, makes this opportunity more than a dream come true. Set to get married in July of 2013, my fiancee and I are excited to see what the city of Lima holds for us.
