Despite the lack of sunshine today, the Sunshine Playground in New Bremen started to take shape as volunteers helped to construct the special needs playground.
The park was inspired by the memory of a little girl that inspired others.
Camryn Murgatroyd died three years ago at the age of five. She had cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Her brother Nolan was at Bremenfest Park today to help with construction.
The idea got started more than 19 months ago after Nolan's grandmother suggested a playground for special needs kids. The New Bremen-New Knoxville Rotary Club picked up on the idea and raised the 250 thousand dollars needed.
A dedication is expected in mid-June.
