A leisurely day of boating on Indian Lake has one man clinging to life at this hour in a Bellefontaine hospital.
This was the scene just after 6:30 tonight. A 29 year old man, pulled from the murky waters of Indian Lake after being submerged underwater for more than an hour and a half.
The man, who's identity has not been released was with a friend. They were in a canoe in the northeast part of the lake near Cranetown Island, when it started taking on water, causing it to capsize.
The friend made it to shore and got help. Neither man was wearing a life vest. A total of eight divers were in the water from the Indian lake and Lakeview departments.
No other details on the man's condition has been released at this hour.
