A former Lima teacher is going to prison for having sex with a teenage student.
30 year old Whitney Chiles sentenced to four years in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. According to the Hardin County prosecutor, Chiles brought a 15 year old boy to her Ada home, smoked marijuana with him, and had sex with the teen.
Chiles was an intervention specialist at Lima North Middle School. She resigned last April from the position. The student attended Lima Senior. Chiles accepted a plea deal in March. Three other charges were dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.
