Wapakoneta's growing economy is hard to miss, especially if your getting off of I-75. At the exit, you are greeted with a plethora of restaurants and shopping locations.
Sitting on the intersection of State Route 33 and Interstate 75, Wapakoneta is now home to a variety of franchised restaurants. Believe it or not, the city has been asked to bring other national food chains to the area, with Dunkin's Donuts being the most recent.
As for the city's feedback, Mayor Metz and city council welcome all new businesses with open arms. The future of new businesses in Wapakoneta is currently at a stand still, so we'll have to wait and see who decides to take on the challenge and what city council has to say.
