Lima celebrates Earth Day with day-long celebration at Faurot Pa - Hometownstations.com-WLIO- Lima, OH News Weather Sports

Rather than staying inside some people celebrated Earth Day by spending the day outside at Faurot Park in Lima.

The event featured live music and speakers talking about the environment and the earth. There was also a display about solar energy.

Organizer Rae Neal says you don't have to go out and buy solar panels for your home or drive an electric car to make a difference.

This was the 12th year for the event.
