Fundraiser helps program that feeds hungry kids on the weekends

The Meals till Monday program gets some help from a bake sale to make sure kids get all the food they need when they're not in school.

Meals till Monday helps provide food for elementary students, who otherwise wouldn't be able to eat.

While schools provide food throughout the school week, elementary students have no food from Friday through Monday, hence the name Meals till Monday.

The Lost Creek Care Center collected all sorts of baked goods for the fundraiser, something Meals till Monday Program Director Jenny Earl says she's thankful for.

Helping to raise some extra money during the bake sale, a raffle of a variety of items including a nightstand, a woman's bag, gift cards and more.

By the end of the day, Lost Creek Care Center raised $667 for Meals till Monday.
