Contract negotiations continue at Husky's Lima Refinery for the company's more than 200 unionized workers.
Union members are meeting on Thursday at six in the evening to look over a proposed contract.
The previous three year contract for the United Steel Workers Local 624 expire on April 15th.
Union president Mike Edlebrock says union members agreed to work under the expired contract as long as negotiations continue to progress.
During the meeting union officials will present the current contract proposal from Husky.
Members will then have the chance to share their suggestions.
Union members will also vote on whether or not to give union officials authorization to implement a strike if necessary.
The first quarter earnings for Husky Energy were released yesterday.
The company delivered a strong performance with net earnings of $591 million for the quarter.
