ONU students honored for academic excellence

Celebration is in the air on the Ohio Northern University campus as they honor students who have achieved academic excellence in their chosen line of study.

Awards were given out in each academic program in which they honored 50 newly inducted members to different societies on campus.  Seven individuals also received awards for various scholarships.

President DiBiasio also said being his first year at the university he was impressed with the tradition of the academic ceremony honoring student's achievements since the spring of 1970.
