Several United Way agencies in Hancock County are getting some much needed help through the annual Day of Caring.
Volunteers from Marathon Oil Company were out at Camp Berry cleaning up the Boy Scout Campground, doing anything from mulching to power washing.
Over at the Re-Store on Tiffin Ave. in Findlay, volunteers from Whirlpool were helping to spruce up both the inside and outside of the store.
Community Services Director Beverly Phillips says they decided to make this year's Day of Caring a week long affair.
Nearly 750 volunteers were expected to spend some time this week helping out the United Way agencies in Hancock County.
