Police have released a cause of death for a Lima man found dead on his porch this past weekend.
Lima police Lieutenant Jim Baker says the preliminary cause of death on 33 year old Christopher Garrett is being listed as a "drug overdose". A final determination on the cause of death will come from an autopsy that will be performed in Toledo. Lt. Baker says unless the autopsy says different there is no reason to believe any foul play occurred involving Garrett.
His body was discovered on the porch at 7-36 Greenlawn Avenue on Sunday morning after an anonymous call came in about the body on the porch. Police descended on scene to investigate.
