
A Columbus Grove Marine comes home to a hero's welcome tonight. Sergeant Major Justin LeHew, who is stationed in Hawaii returned to Ohio to be inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor in Columbus on Friday.
LeHew enlisted in the Marine Corps in July of 1988 and has been honored with the Navy Cross for taking part in the rescue of U.S. Army Private Jessica Lynch in April of 2003 and the Bronze Star for his actions in August of 2004 during the battle of Najaf. LeHew credits his upbringing in Columbus Grove for any success he's achieved.
LeHew and Army Specialist Donald Mathys, a native of Kenton were among seventeen people inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor on Friday.
