Bowling event helps raise money for deaf children

Ohio Hands and Voices hosting their first ever Make A Strike fundraiser event at Westgate Lanes Saturday, helping to raise money for families raising children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Kids of all ages knocking down some pins and having some fun.

The fundraiser not only helped bring in funds for the Ohio Hands and Voices campaign, it also allowed deaf and hard of hearing kids to come together and make new friends.

The money raised will help go to continuing future events.

For more information on the Ohio's Eyes and Hands support group, the next meeting will be held at St. Rita's June 12, at 6:30pm.
