Blessing of the Bikes

A nearly picture perfect day to get out your motorcycle and do some serious riding...and that's just what some one thousand bikers did today, but first they needed a little help from above.

The motorcyclists started their ride at the Community United Methodist Church where the annual Blessing of the Bikes took place.

This is sort of the official start of the motorcycling season, but with the warm weather we've already had this spring, many riders have already been out.

Pastor Bryan Bucher an event like this gives the public some notice to keep an eye out for motorcyclists.
