For 17 year old Andrew Jacobo, learning more about the history of the Lima Police Department gets him excited about the future. His future in law enforcement.

The Lima Police Department has had a rich history and some of that history was on display at the Allen County Museum Saturday as the community celebrated 125 years of service to Lima.  

The department had served in several locations before it's current location on east Market St.

Some of the older police technology was on display at the museum but Chief Kevin Martin says the job of policing hasn't changed all that much.
