Bike Safety Day in Wapakoneta

As kids start to break out their bikes as the weather gets nice... many parents want to make sure their kids stay safe while out riding.      The UNOH Racers Motorsports team along with the ARCA racing team were at the annual Bicycle Safety Day at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.      

John Mills of SCCA Racing suffered a brain injury after a 2008 accident at the Mid-Ohio Race Course.      

Mills along with the other racers want to promote the use of bicycle helmets among today's youth.

The Bicycle Safety Day is a project of Marlene Froning.        

Her son was hit by a car while riding his bike nearly 30 years ago.
