WORTH Center open house

The WORTH Center's open house on Friday will be a lot more than just a tour of the facility.

Executive director Mark Fuerstenau says residents will introduce some of the center's new correctional programs such as anger management, education, and parenting classes.

The ridge project is a parenting class that teaches offenders how to be good role models for their kids.

The ridge project was originally designed for male residents,however, the WORTH Center is the only facility in the country to offer the program to both men and women. Tours will be open to the public on Friday, May 18 from 1pm to 5pm.
