Lima Schools new district offices named after former superintendent

When the Lima School Board made cuts last year the district moved its offices out of the Dr. Earl A. McGovern building on Calumet Street. On Thursday, McGovern's name moved to a new building.

The Dr. Earl A. McGovern Educational Wing is now at the district offices in the South Science Technology Magnet.

A number of McGovern's former co-workers came for the dedication, remember the superintendent who served not once, but twice for the district, spanning over 20 years.
