One local city starts a celebration this weekend that has been 200 years in the
making! . The residents of Findlay have a lot
to be proud of as they gear up to celebrate their bicentennial.
The bicentennial
committee in Findlay has been working on this celebration for over a year and
even though a lot of the celebration is focused on the future organizers want to
make sure that people remember the past.
The bicentennial celebration kicked off
Friday with the annual Boogie on Main Street were they had live bands, carnival
food, and lots of fun games for kids and adults alike
The celebration continues
throughout the month with lots of actives. The party continues at the Hancock County Fairgrounds with family entertainment and a
historical view into the last 200 years in Findlay provided by the Hancock Historical Museum.
