
Every seat was full in Lima's Civic Center, as the University of Northwestern Ohio honored the 2012 graduating class, and the 92nd class in university history.
Among those individuals graduating on Sunday, Adam Mestemacher stood out as an excelled student, and was nominated by school faculty to be one of the graduation speakers. Currently working for Richard Childress Racing, Adam serves as the tire specialist on Ty Dillon's number 3 Bass Pro Shops racing truck. For Adam, UNOH was the key to getting his dream job within NASCAR.
University President Dr. Jeff Jarvis was happy to report that this years graduating class made history as one of the schools largest graduating classes.
Almost all students hope to use the skills and knowledge learned in the classroom in the real world. However, as the president mentioned, some students will be taking those skills a little further, such as Darko Bucan who will head back to Serbia with his knowledge in business and marketing.
Graduates will now join others in the work world, as they head into health professions, occupational professions, business and applied technology.
