LIMA, OHIO -
Area veterans will benefit from a big car show later this month in Lima.
Organizers of the fourth annual charity car show June 24th announced Wednesday, that the money raised will go for the local veterans food pantry.
Event chairman, Andy Maravola, says this year's recipients hit close to home as he thinks back to his own father's service during world war two.
Vietnam veteran Carl Kistler says he's proud to be part of an event to help out his friends who also served.
He says every little bit helps.
Organizers expect around 180 classic cars at the show coming up June 24th from noon to five at Westgate lanes.
Part of the proceeds will also benefit local children's charities.
