An accident in downtown Lima sends one person to the hospital after a pickup truck ends up on it's top.
The accident occurred at the corner of Central Avenue and High Street at 2:35 this afternoon. According to the Lima police department a maroon GMC Sanoma was headed north bound on Central Avenue. A red construction truck was headed eastbound on High Street and ran the stop sign causing the GMC to land on it's top.
There were two people in the Sanoma. The male drover was not taken to the hospital, but a female passenger was transported to St. Rita's medical center. The accident caused a short traffic jam on Central as traffic was re-routed. The accident remains under investigation.
