The Husky Lima Refinery strike is nearing a month in duration as Wednesday wraps up day 27 on the picket lines for United Steelworkers Local 624.
Union President Mike Edelbrock confirmed late Wednesday contract talks with the company will resume on Tuesday, June 26th.
Meantime, another informational meeting for workers Wednesday The workers were given a letter stressing the importance of good conduct on the picket lines.
A worker who crossed the picket lines to return to work recently had his pick-up truck damaged and some nails were left in a couple of driveways.
Edelbrock doesn't expect anymore problems.
Local 624 will hold its family picnic this coming Sunday.
A large support rally is being planned for Sunday July 14th in Faurot park.
Edelbrock also says some "strike and defense fund" money came in this week from the international, allowing them to distribute Meijer gift cards for food and gas purchases.
