ADA, OHIO -
Gifted high school students are attending math and science workshops at Ohio Northern University. The Summer Academic and Honors Institute gives students a chance to work with college professors in areas like engineering and physics. Jeanne Grassle took the engineering workshop last year and is back for physics. She says the workshop last year made her a standout among peers.
"It just made it so much easier to understand the concept," said Grassle.
The workshops run until June 29. Other areas of study include pharmacy and medicinal herbs.
