Although prices continue to fall, come July 4th weekend, prices will jump as demand at the pump and holiday travel increase.
Lima Ohio -
Some relief at the pump, as national gas prices fall six percent from last month.
According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline fell to $3.45, down 20 cents from May. Prices in Lima currently sit around the $3.37 mark. The lower prices are said to be connected to an improvement in several refineries.
Although prices continue to fall, come July 4th weekend, prices will jump as demand at the pump and holiday travel increase. AAA suggests prices will be lower than the holiday weekend last year, when gas prices averaged $3.59.
