Relay for life events are a great way to honor those who are still battling and especially those who lost there battle with cancer. For the 2012 graduating class at Wapakoneta they know all to well what its like to loose a classmate and friend to the disease.
The two classmates that lost there battle with caner were Jason Strauser and Jesse Doseck. For Shelby Cook being especially close to both made the loss even more difficult, but being a tight knit group the class of 2012 came together.
To honor their young friends the class of 2012 raised nearly 2000 dollars for the relay for life and will have someone on the track for the entire 18 hours of the relay.
