Recent newspaper ads accuse state senator Keith Faber of being a republican in name only. The ads paid for by faith 2 direct action, are aimed at passing house bill 125 which is the heart beat bill, a pro-life bill that if enacted, would not allow abortions once a fetal heart beat is detected.
The bill now sits before "the senate health, human services and aging committee and is not currently scheduled for a vote. Faber does not sit on that committee. He says the ads try to make him out as non pro-life which he says is not true.
