Stabbing leaves one man hurt, another in custody

Lima police are investigating a stabbing this evening. Just after 8 o'clock police were called to 568 S. Scott on Lima's southeast side.

According to witnesses a fight inside the home escalated when one man produced a knife and stabbed the other man.

The stabbing victim was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital, while the other man was taken into custody by Lima police.  

No word on a condition of the victim but it's believed his wounds are not life threatening.
