Needy kids and the Veterans Food Pantry get some help to stock their shelves through money raised today at the annual charity car show at Westgate Lanes.
For the 4th year, Andy Maravola organized the event to help raise money for the food pantry and needy children. The car show brought in more than 200 vehicles ranging from Dodge Challengers, Pontiac GTO and Ford Mustangs. While the types of cars varied, so did the age of the cars, something organizers fully support.
Andy and others stopped admiring all of the cars on site to honor the veterans and all of the men and women who currently serve in the United States Armed Forces. To honor the veterans, a flag was raised over military vehicles in the center of the show.
