Parachute team dives over Allen County

Divers from the rangers group All Veterans Parachute Team wrapped up weekend activities out at the Allen County Fairgrounds with an afternoon dive.

With a few dozen people gathered around the dive sight, three rangers jumped out above the fairgrounds and gracefully floated to the ground with smoke canisters leaving a colorful trail.

Ninety percent of the jumpers on the team are represented the military as members of the Army Golden Knights parachute team, but now they represent the veterans.

Enjoying their time here in Lima and seeing the joy on everyone's faces, the divers hope to bring that same excitement back to the area next year.
