Ottawa voters will likely consider a renewal levy in November.

Monday night village council sent on to second reading an ordinance  declaring the necessity to renew a five year one point one mill property tax levy for the village fire department.

The levy should raise about 99 thousand dollars a year.

The village fire department employs 40 people.
