The storms that rolled through our area knocked a tree down in Bath Township which crashes through the roof of a house.
This tree fell destroying a tree house in the backyard and smashes it's way through the roof of the house. The bricks from the home can be found laying around the yard as well. The person that owns this home is used to emergencies.
Bath Township Fire Chief Joe Kitchen is the one who owns the home and said it was different being on the one who owned a home from an incident like this. He is a new owner of the property and says he was just getting to the point of turning a house into a home. "Actually haven't lived in this house very long and was just in the process of remodeling it. Updating it and getting it ready. Some bad luck I guess. I've got insurance, I guess we'll figure it out and again really happy no one was injured." said Kitchen.
Even though Kitchen hasn't owned the home for long --- he is getting offers of help from all of his new neighbors.
