Event organizers were able to clean up after last night's storms, and kicked off Freedom Days in Celina. Celebrating 8 years of festivities, Freedom Days allows visitors to enjoy music, food, drinks and even games like cornhole and kickball.

The storms that came through the area last night put a damper on the event, and made things difficult for organizers. All of their efforts were blown away with the storm, forcing them to start over this morning.

Running on generators, the event continues with live music Saturday night and Sunday. For food, drinks and fun for the whole family, swing by North Shore Park in Celina.
