Red Cross Shelters getting heavy use

Two Red Cross Disaster Shelters have been set up in Allen county as the result of Friday's storms. One is at Forest Park United Methodist Church.      

The other is at the Red Cross Chapter House.      

Volunteers have been helping a steady stream of people throughout the past couple of days.      

Red Cross volunteer manager Karen Jantzi says people continue to utilize their services.      

She says they've seen about 90 people come through their shelters since Friday.        

Some of those who were evacuated from the Lima Towers Apartments last night were also taken to both emergency shelters, but we're told the power is now back on at the Lima Towers and residents can return home.
