Midwest Electric provides Sunday 8:30 pm update on outages

We serve about 10,000 homes, farms and businesses in seven counties in west central Ohio. At the peak of the storm, we had about 7,000 out of power. As of 6:30pm Sunday, we have about 2,400 without power.

Rural Rockford - 0 out
Sharpsburg substation (north Ft. Recovery, west Coldwater) - 2 out
rural Coldwater - 0 out
St. Henry - 1 out
Chickasaw - 2 out
Noble (north of St. Marys) - 4 out
Spencerville west and north - 0 out
Kossuth (Spencerville south; also west of Kossuth) - all members still out; transmission outage
Jonestown (Ohio City, Venedocia) - 150 out (transmission outage)
Moulton (east St. Marys, rural Wapak - north, west, south) - all members still out; transmission outage
Rockport (Bluffton, Columbus Grove) - 15 out
Amanda (Cridersville, Shawnee, Ft. Amanda) -53 out
Lake substation (rural west New Bremen/Minster, south Grand Lake) - 99 out
Elida - 200 out
Bluelick (Bath area, north of Lima) - 15 out
We aim to have all of the above (except Moulton, Kossuth and Jonestown) back on by Monday night. For Moulton, Kossuth and Jonestown, still expect a few days. We would like to be more specific, but we don't have more information from the transmission provider.
