LIMA, OHIO -
The state is shaking loose a little bit of money to help out some lower-income residents affected by the recent storms.
The Allen County Department of Job and Family Services will start taking applications Monday for disaster relief.
The funding is designed for families with children or disabled individuals under 150 percent of the federal poverty level.
The money will help those with storm-related losses and does have specific requirements attached to it.
Allen county has just under forty thousand dollars to work with, not a lot, but every little bit helps.
To apply, bring identification information for all household members to job and family services, including drivers licenses and social security cards.
Again, the application period runs Monday through August second.
