A Ku Klux Klan member pleaded no contest to an aggravated menacing charge on Monday. The judge sentenced 22-year-old Kevin Gibbs of Hamilton to four days of community service and no firearms possession for a year. Gibbs will also pay a fine of 225 dollars.
Less than six months ago, the 22 year old was part of a small group of people marching in Mount Victory and spreading the Klan message. One person was wearing a white robe. Gibbs pulled out a gun and got into an argument when some Mount Victory residents asked the marchers to leave.
A sheriff's deputy was called to the scene and prevented it from escalating further.
