LIMA, OHIO -
There was a silver lining from the recent storms for at least one line of business.
Roofing companies across the area say they got a shot in the arm after the hurricane-force winds blew threw.
Many local homeowners needed quick emergency or temporary repairs to keep the rain out and that meant phones have been ringing off the hook for many roofers.
Jason Winegardner says they had to be on the ball and ready to go at a moment's notice when Mother Nature called.
Winegardner says there haven't been a lot of severe storms rumble through like this recent one.
But he says it is definitely an eye opener and one that has forced them to add on to meet the local roofing and siding needs.
Winegardner says he is taking between ten and fifteen appointments per day.
He says they are so busy they typically kick the day off at a project site around six am.
