The Findlay Police Department keeping a close eye on the construction site for the new Glenwood Middle School after a report of vandalism.
On June 20th, the district filed a report with the police department for vandalism that happened in the overnight hours. On Monday, the district filed another report, citing more damage, believed to have been done on the 20th, but not noticed until this week.
Police say the vandals discharged some fire extinguishers in the new building, used markers to write on walls, and broke six cases of ceiling tiles.
Since the vandalism, patrol officers have kept close watch over the construction site. The school is also putting up board over doors and windows to keep vandals out.
